[edit] Article Improvement Drive
Each month the Roller coaster WikiProject selects an article to work upon together. The aim of this is to get the article up to either B-class or GA-class. Nominations for future months can be made on the talk page. Below is a summary of the collabarative work that has taken place so far.
[edit] Destubification
As the majority of our articles are currently stubs, this is a fun little task to earn yourself some awards whilst helping the WikiProject at the same time.
[edit] Awards
The following awards are available upon reaching the required milestone:
Number of articles destubified |

Only articles about individual roller coasters are eligible for inclusion. Articles are classed as destubified if they pass the following criteria:
- Articles must have an infobox, including the rcdb field
- Articles must follow basic Manual of Style, including the following:
- All roller coaster names must be italicised
- Use the term "roller coaster", not abbreviated as "coaster"
- Articles should have a "Track layout" section, outlining the ride as briefly as possible
- Articles must include at least 2 reputable references
- If appropriate, an external link to the roller coaster's page on the park's website
- Any appropriate navbox templates, eg {{AT Coasters}}
[edit] List of stubs
To make it simpler, a current list of 400 stubs can be found here. The list is split into blocks of 20, which you can leave your username by to avoid multiple people claiming the same work.
[edit] How to nominate yourself for an award
Leave a message on Seaserpent85's talkpage, including a list of diffs of articles destubified.
