[edit] U.S. National Parks

I am working my way through the 58 U.S. National Parks articles. Please feel free to help. (Should probably standardize link text) Rmhermen 17:43, Oct 16, 2004 (UTC)

Using a criteria of designation of 75% or more of the park as wilderness, I have noted the parks which should have the brown background on the summary box instead of green (these are IUCN level Ib).

[edit] Minimally complete

(at least one representative picture, infobox box, links to official web site, order of magnitude)

[edit] U.S. National Forests

For complete listing see List of U.S. National Forests. Still some redlined articles, but becoming more completed. Article quality ranges from single sentence stubs to thoroughly detailed discussions. 2 forests have no articles - as of 14 February 2007

[edit] U.S. Wilderness areas

Though some work has been completed, there are hundreds of redlined links to vacant artilces in need of development See: List of U.S. Wilderness Areas. Approximately 40 articles are detailed and utilize images and the infobox appropriate for wilderness articles.

Note that the list article may not be complete. See Talk:List of U.S. Wilderness Areas for discussion of "missing" areas.

[edit] U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service areas

Over 250 written articles yet still hundreds of redlined links to vacant articles. See: List of National Wildlife Refuges. Several articles now utilize the infobox but we will need to go back to older articles and add it in to each one.

[edit] New Zealand National Parks

[edit] Has infobox

all parks now have infobox

[edit] South Africa Conservation Areas and Parks

See List of conservation areas of South Africa Initial evaluation (April 3, 2006): 95 parks on list - 21 have at least a stub article, only 6 have an infobox. About 8 are stubs.
