- 1. How did you first hear of Wikipedia, and why did you decide to become a Wikipedia editor?
- A: Well, Wikipedia was basically the first result I found when I searched for anything on Google. I remember when I suspiciously saw the Edit this page button on the top, so I pressed it. I couldn't edit because the article was semi-protected. I then added the info on their WWE Friday Night Smackdown! appearance, and have since discovered all of the uses of Wikipedia.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I have contributed to several GAs, but I think that the best contributions I have made are the little stuff that make articles better. (Grammar corrections, wikilinks, vandalism reverts, etc.) This way, I can better and contribute to many more articles one small step at a time.
- 3. What is the origin(s) of your username?
- A: It's my real name, however, I still sign as Lex (my nickname).
- 4. What other project(s) do you participate in on Wikipedia besides WP:PW?
- A: I participate sproadically in WP:SP and WP:DISAMBIGUATION. However, I am an active member in WP:HEROES and WP:PUR.
- 5. What do you like most about Wikipedia? What do you like least about Wikipedia?
- A: Wikipedia is a heaven of information. Just one search, and you will find what you want. However, I don't like the crappy search engine. Maybe they can find one powered by Google, like most sites.
Wrestling related
- 1. How did you begin watching professional wrestling?
- A: I began watching professional wrestling by channel-surfing by the time of the Attitude Era in 2001. I loved watching Kevin Nash, The Hurricane, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Hardys, Edge and Christian, and Lita. Wrestling really powered up my week.
- 2. Who is your favorite wrestler, and why?
- A: It's a tough one. I like many wrestlers. I mostly watch WWE, and here are the wrestlers I love to watch: Brian Kendrick, Carlito, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Edge, Elijah Burke, Jamie Noble, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Kenny Dykstra, Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, Paul London, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Santino Marella and Shelton Benjamin. My favorite legend is Bret Hart. I do not watch TNA Wrestling, but I did watch it once and was amazed by one wrestler's ability in particular: Chris Sabin.
- 3. If you were to enter pro wrestling, what would you choose your entrance theme to be?
- A: I don't really care much for my entrance theme, but maybe something from Three Days Grace or Nonpoint. However, WWE makes great original entrance themes, so I guess they could make a great one for me.
- 4. If you were in control of any of the major wrestling promotions (WWE/TNA/etc.), what would you change about them?
- A: What wouldn't I change? First of all, TNA has to stop living on past WWE main eventers, and start pushing original talent. Plus, they need better writers, for what I have seen. WWE needs to stop pushing muscle heads, and start pushing the real wrestlers (the Cruisers). Also, I'd give ECW as much main eventers as possible (Rey Mysterio, Edge and Chris Jericho come to mind). Oh, and they should stop pushing Triple H (11 titles are enough)! Also, The Great Khali and The Miz have to go.
- 5. What has been your favorite wrestling match/event of all-time?
- A: Tough one... I really can't decide on this one, although any ladder match or extreme rules match appeals to me. I love almost every ladder / tables / hardcore match that The Hardys were ever part of, and I also liked classic Bret Hart matches, and any match including cruiserweights. I have yet to see a Cruiserweight match I did not like.
Personal
- 1. What city/area do you currently live in?
- A: I live in San Germán, Puerto Rico.
- 2. What other language(s) do you speak besides English?
- 3. What are your interests?
- A: Biology, Medicine, Television, Movies & Film, Pool, C&VGs, Professional Wrestling, Travel, PS3, Track and Tennis.
- 4. What do you do in your spare time when you aren't editing Wikipedia/at work/at school/etc.?
- A: College, and watching tv. I love TV. I watch Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, The Apprentice, Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money, Smallville, Pushing Daisies, Private Practice, Chuck, South Park and of course, WWE.
- 5. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you bring with you?
- A: Food, my girlfriend, and a boat, so we can get the hell out of there.
Community-asked questions
- 1. Do you have a favorite South Park episode? (from ThinkBlue)
- A: That'd be too difficult. South Park is the best! I really can't decide between all of it's episode in each of it's 11 seasons, because they all are drop dead funny and are amazing works of writing and animation.
- 2. What is your dream destination? (from ThinkBlue)
- A: I've never gone to Europe, and I am half-italian, so I'd love to go to Italy. It would be a great experience for me, as I grew up with Puerto Ricans and Italian-Americans only. I've also wanted to go to Scottland, Madrid, Spain and Dubai. However, my "dream destination" would be the WWE Board of Directors' Chairman's seat. XD
