Wikipedia:WikiProject Pro Gaming
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Welcome to the Pro Gaming WikiProject, a collaboration area and group of editors dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Pro Gaming.
(For more information on WikiProjects, please see Wikipedia:WikiProject and the Guide to WikiProjects).
- Goals
- This WikiProject exists to create, maintain, and improve articles related to professional video gaming, its leagues, and notable teams and players.
- Scope
- Any article related to professional video gaming, its leagues, and notable teams and players.

[edit] Guidelines
Guidelines specific to the project can be discussed, but notes to keep in mind:
- Source everything.
- Write from a NPOV. It can be easy to write praisingly about your favorite player, but write objectively about his/her accomplishments instead.
- Do your best to make notability apparent within the article. For example, if the person has won an international tournament, their article definitely should mention it.
- Search! We have the marked advantage of covering a topic which finds most of its publicity on the web. You could find interesting, useful facts you've never realized before.
