[edit] Scope

The scope of the Anarchism task force is articles about Anarchism, concepts in Anarchism, history of Anarchism, and biographical articles about notable anarchist activists and philosophers. Our goal is to find and identify all the substantive topics in Anarchism and expand the Wikipedia presence of those topics. The project is a descendant of WikiProject Philosophy, as Anarchism is a major philosophical tradition.

[edit] Potential articles

Add topics here for which you would like to write an article but lack substantial coverage in reliable sources. If you have access to useful sources, list them after the relevant topic.

  • Indigenism - Ward Churchill, Richard JF Day, Infoshop article, [23], [24]
  • Segundo Blanco, member of the CNT and government of the Second Spanish Republic, Spanish article is translatable, and there's plenty of English refs to back it up, Google Books may be creepy, but totally good for this stuff.
The Daily Journal Online, The Spanish Civil War: Revolution, Anarchists in the Spanish Civil War
  • Joaquín Ascaso, another Spanish anarchist, pretty sure there's a Spanish article, but also English refs. Google Books as well.
  • Giovanni Rossi (anarchist), Italian anarchist, founder of Brazil's Cecilia Colony.
  • Moishe Tokar, Russian anarchist, executed. Rudolf Rocker's The London Years has some info.
  • Emile Pouget, French anarchist. Google Books has tons of stuff to use.
  • flag.blackened.net - Leading anarchist website/host, notable for a host of articles about FBI crackdown[25]. Could round out a nice series of articles on Cat:Anarchist websites
  • Nihilist anarchism - Infoshop Open Wiki has a surprisingly extensive article here
  • Nobody for President - this article on the front page as a DYK would be a subversive coup for the ATF during election season! Plenty of mentions on Google
  • Anarchism in Scotland - [26] "Scottish Anarchism". Do mention: Ethel MacDonald
  • Anarchism in Venezuela - [27] [28] [29] Anarchism in Venezuela, past and present
  • Manifesto of the Sixteen/Proclamation of the Sixteen is a document signed by Peter Kropotkin and 14 other anarchists (the other name is a place, which was apparently mistaken as a signatory) in support of victory for the Allies over Germany in World War I. I can't find an English version of the document, but here's what I have found: [30], [31]
