Wikipedia's articles on organizations could/should have a similar format applied to them to make the articles as comprehensive as possible. See the talk page for discussion on which format(s) to choose.

  1. Lede paragraph - (a) brief description of what the organization is or does today; (b) when and where it was established & short history that led it to present state; (c) what the organization is notable for.
  2. Activities - discussion of current activities, publications, awards made, etc.
  3. Structure - how the organization is governed, current officers, headquarters, legal structure
  4. History - how it got started, evolution over time
  5. Notable members or events
  6. References, footnotes, further research, see also, external links - external links should include the organization website, archive holding the organization papers if available

Categories should include:

  1. subject
  2. optional: activity, legal status, structure, type, membership, associated with, establishing entity,
  3. location based in
  4. year of establishment
