This is the page for the new (14th December 2006) WikiProject for the British television situation comedy Only Fools and Horses. If you would like to contribute, please add your name to the list below. If you feel you have suggestions for how to improve any/some/all Only Fools and Horses articles then please add your contributions, and feel free to make use of the discussion page as well.

[edit] To Do List

If you feel something needs to be changed as a whole within articles, please add it to this list. If it is for a small number of articles, or a single article, please use the relevant talk pages to note the need, or else just make the change yourself. This section should be used for inspiration with regards how to better OFAH pages generally.

  • Episode summaries need to be greatly improved. For the most part they are unencyclopaedic and clearly written by fans. They are also extremely short, and nearly all could be expanded upon. If they become too long, create a Plot Summary section before the detailed explanation of articles.
  • A story arc section should be added to the bottom of those articles where something which has a significant impact upon the continuity of the show occurs - first appearances, characters changing jobs/places of residence, that sort of thing.
  • Trivia and error sections should be created where possible to provide more detailed information. Books, interviews, etc can all be used for sources for this, and of course sources must be cited per Wikipedia guidelines.
  • The character biographies are in need of improvement, they are generally of sub-par standard, being disorganised. Much general clean up work will be required on them.

* The main article itself should be improved to Featured Article standard. It is currently not far below that, any improvements that can be made should be done so. - This was accomplished end '2006.   • More notable quotes should be added, both to episodes and to character biographies
  • The episode cast list box needs to be added to all episodes - it is missing in a lot.
  • Missing episode articles, such as Sickness and Wealth (Series 6) need to be created, along with any other articles relating to Only Fools and Horses that do not currently exist, such as the characters Marlene Boyce and Mickey Pearce.
  • Where possible, add images to individual episode articles.
  • I would like to see a page for minor and recurring characters, including important one/two offs, as exists for such shows as Futurama. I think there are enough of these to warrant such a page, with small photographs and descriptions to be added over time Caissa's DeathAngel 15:44, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

I've decided that this project needs a section for specific tasks which need to be done, as opposed to the more general needs identified above. These can be striked out when completed, else I/someone else may make a list of completed tasks so that we can keep track of how things are going within the Project.Caissa's DeathAngel 15:42, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

  • DCI Roy Slater needs a complete revamping. It is little more than a stub at present, and needs far more information, character analysis, photographs, and a few references if possible.
  • He Aint Heavy, He's My Uncle - this episode does not exist at present, but needs to.
