{Unreferenced|date=January 2008} The Great Lakes League (GLL) was a high school athletic conference in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan that began athletic competition in 1957 until it transformed into the Greater Buckeye Conference in 2003.
The following schools were members of the league at some point:
- Temperance (MI) Bedford Mules (now in the Southeastern Michigan Conference)
- Oregon Clay Eagles (now in the Toledo City League)
- Findlay Trojans (now in the Greater Buckeye Conference)
- Fostoria Redmen (now in the Northern Ohio League)
- Fremont Ross Little Giants (now in the Greater Buckeye Conference)
- Napoleon Wildcats (now in the Greater Buckeye Conference)
- Port Clinton Redskins (now in the Sandusky Bay Conference)
- Sandusky Blue Streaks (now in the Greater Buckeye Conference)
- Sylvania/Sylvania Northview Wildcats (now in the Northern Lakes League)
- Toledo Rogers Rams (now in the Toledo City League)
- Toledo Whitmer Panthers (now in the Toledo City League)
Upon the partial dissolution of the GLL, Clay and Whitmer left for the Toledo City League while the Lima Senior Spartans and Marion Harding Presidents joined the GBC with Findlay, Fremont Ross, Napoleon, and Sandusky. The GLL is now the area's middle school athletic league. Consisting of the Findlay, Fremont Ross, Oregon Clay, and Sandusky middle schools. Findlay: Central Spartans, Donnell Atoms, and Glenwood Eagles. Fremont Ross: Purple, White. Oregon Clay: Eisenhower Falcons, and Fasset Vikings. Sandusky: Blue Streaks.
