[edit] Currently Needing work

If you're working on an article and you'd like to bring it to the attention of other editors, list it here, and/or discuss it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Niger. There should be no more than 20 articles listed at one time. Put the newest at the top and delete from the bottom when the total is over 20.

Format: # [[Article title]], class. Details on what should be done (optional). ~~~~

  1. Niger, of course, should be the highest priority. The article is poor, mostly lifted from the US State Department. I'm trying to work on History of Niger and then integrate it in, but PLEASE dip in to the main article or any breakout articles at any time. I've requested semi-protection for the article, as most of my time spent on it is removing racist vandalism. T L Miles (talk) 15:25, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
  2. Second Tuareg Rebellion, start. Current event: help it stay current and NPOV. T L Miles (talk) 19:47, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Governments and NGOs
Government websites

The Niger government websites have often been inaccessable in the past. This is especially true of the domain names: http://www.niger-gouv.ne/ and The Délégué Général à l'Informatique (DELGI) http://www.delgi.ne., which appeared to go down on 27 April 2007. Late 2007 saw the relaunching of a number of government sites.
