[edit] Pages we need
- The 3 census divisions left out of the 10 which do not yet have pages (added Division 4 --shorlin 17:25, 24 October 2006 (UTC))
- All census-defined areas:
- unorganized census subdivisions
- towns (see List of communities in Newfoundland and Labrador and Statscan)
- census agglomerations
- regions
- Indian reservations
- NL corporations
- NL people (see List of people of Newfoundland and Labrador)
-
- Comment (IMHO) The practice of placing a list of names in provincial articles should not be allowed. It's fine for a small community whereas it is part of the province as a whole. With that been said, I propose that the notable people be stricken from the articles on Newfoundland and Newfoundland and Labrador and instead put a lot more effort into cleaning up the List of people of Newfoundland and Labrador to accommodate the province and world renown individuals that played an important part of our heritage and development. --HJKeats 15:21, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment Lists have been removed and the elements linked to the categories or moved to the List page as noted. The categories themselves still need cleanup and organization in some hierarchy. I'm not sure about the separate list page though; the 3 categories linked (see below) will cover the province as a whole and both the mainland and island parts of it as subcategories. So the List of people of Newfoundland and Labrador would be mostly redundant - excepting those people who are not from the province but who have touched or affected it in some way. In which case it should probably be renamed.--Vulcan's Forge 02:40, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Current focus project
I propose that we concentrate our efforts to the ensuring an excellent article related to Cuper's Cove. HJKeats 21:42, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
For a number of reasons:
- The first official sanctioned colony in the New World,
- The first colony for Newfoundland,
- The birthplace of the first recorded English born child in Newfoundland and Canada.
- 400th anniversary in just 4 years from now, August 2010.
[edit] Pages that need work
- Fish, Food and Allied Workers Union new article
- Leader of the Opposition (Newfoundland and Labrador) - Who was Leader of the Opposition from 1969 to 1972 while Frank Moores was Tory leader but didn't have a seat in the House of Assembly?
- Newfoundlander
- Newfoundland Rangers
- Royal Newfoundland Regiment needs more history from 1795-1914
- Henry Medley needs more rounding out
- Corner Brook needs more information and a citation or two.
- Census Towns are now bolded on article page and need expanding.
- The List of communities in Newfoundland and Labrador article is proposed to be due for a make-over. Please visit the talk page entitled Refinement of list here.
- Twillingate could use some more citied information.
