Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/location verification

- Check for non-existent communities, and move entries under them to the appropriate community. Then delete the non-existent one.
- e.g., Say that three places in Tavares, Florida are listed under Tavarcs, which does not exist. Those three should be moved under Tavares, then Tavarcs should be removed.
- In some cases, a structure or vessel has been moved since it was listed on the National Register. These should be listed under their current location, with information about their prior location(s).
- Lists of locations are indexed in Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/coords.
- The /coords items are intended as sandboxes; when you merge coordinates for a state or county to an article please delete them. Those lists are too large to display correctly but smaller pieces will work.
