This is part of WikiProject Missing articles, an effort to use outside sources to determine what articles are missing from Wikipedia.

The following is a list of persons lacking Wikipedia entries but having entries in the 1919 edition of Bartlett's Quotations, a work in the public domain, available here. Some will doubtless require only a redirect to a different arrangement of the name. A few may simply not be notable, although most will be. Bartlett's provides some additional information for each person, including year of birth and death, and of course noted quotes. Some of Bartlett's entries contain spelling errors, or incorrect dates. Also, as this is the from the 1919 edition, there is no date of death for persons then living. This project is a counterpart to Wikiquote:Bartlett's 1919 Index.
