- October 1998 Texas Flooding- $750 million in damage and 31 deaths, mentioned in Floods in the United States
- This NWS report has tons of great info. Floods in the United States calls it Central and South Texas Flood of October 1998. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- October 1999 Mexico Flooding- Hundreds of deaths and $1 billion in damage (1999 USD, 10 billion in damage 1999 MXN) per here. Tropical depression was closely involved.
- I did some research on this one a few months ago, but I never got to make the article. Here's some good links I found- TD 11 TCR, TD 11 Advisory archive, NCDC, AP news report, Relief web, Dartmouth Flood Observatory, News story, Another news story, More, News report, Rainfall stats for TD 11. Probably mid or high importance. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- November 2003 Caribbean Flooding- About a dozen deaths and moderate damage
- I did some research on this one a while back but never got a chance to do the article. Here are some links that'll help get started- PR Effects ($10 million, 2 fatalities), USVI Effects ($1.5 million), St. Croix effects, News report, Another News Report, Dominican Republic effects (10 dead), Damage pic, PR Aftermath (Disaster area), USVI Aftermath (Disaster area), Dartmouth, Probably low or mid importance. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- May 2004 Caribbean floods- 2,000 deaths in Haiti and Dominican Republic

Here are some links- Sat. image, Rainfall map, Gary Padgett report, News report, More info, Reliefweb, NCDC Puerto Rico, Dartmouth, NCDC, and Discussion indicating the potential for development into a tropical cyclone. This should be mid, if not high importance. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Basic principles
- Atmospheric convection - a section already exists in convection
- shortwave (meteorology)
- longwave (meteorology)
- forcing (meteorology)
- Diffluence
- Wind gust - it already exists as Gust (wind), but is a stub that needs expanding
- Mesolow
- Reverse lake-effect
