The progess update for Melbourne Railway Stations articles is estimated at 59% complete. Of 233 articles, 20 are complete, 102 are over 60% complete, 97 are 50% complete and 14 are about 30% complete.

- Every currently-open station has an article with at least a station adjacency table (see below).
- Very few stations even have an introductory paragraph. Finishing these is the task at hand.
- Flinders Street, Southern Cross, the City Loop underground stations and those on the Alamein line have good articles, and no urgent work is needed.
- Beyond intro lines, stations need more complete articles. This is the next step.
- Eventually, both the open and closed stations ought to have articles like Ashburton and Alamein (see above).
