The scope of this article fundamentally is loosely defined as all articles and sections relating to pocket pets. These articles should be placed in the Category:WikiProject Mammals/Pocket pets work group articles or one of its subcategories. This should include all articles relating to Lagomorphs and Rodents, included in the Category:Lagomorphs and Category:Rodents.

- To nominate qualifying articles for inclusion in the Did you know section of the main page.
- To improve as many of these articles as possible to good article and/or Featured article status.
