Welcome to WikiProject Luxembourg, a collaboration to improve all manner of articles related to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The WikiProject aims to coordinate this effort to galvanise its members to improve Luxembourgian articles more effectively. This page and its subpages contain the suggestions of the members; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there. For more information on WikiProjects, please see Wikipedia:WikiProject and Wikipedia:WikiProject/Best practices.
[edit] GoalsWithin the scope of this WikiProject lies every article to do with Luxembourg: the land, the people, the history. The goal of the WikiProject is to improve the coverage of Luxembourg, and all of its facets, so that the articles on Luxembourg are of such a high quality and quantity that the casual visitor will forget (or not realise in the first place) that Luxembourg has a population of under half a million people. Specifically, the WikiProject has been set up to:

[edit] MembersFeel free to join the WikiProject, by adding your name to the illustrious list below.
Please also add yourself to Category:WikiProject Luxembourg members. [edit] Structure[edit] Parentage[edit] Hierarchy definitionNo classification of this project has been defined. [edit] Adopt an articleYou might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced. [edit] Current adoptions[edit] Style conventionsThe following are conventions for the editing of articles within the scope of WikiProject Luxembourg. To discuss the conventions as they are now, or to suggest new additions, visit the talk page. [edit] Spelling and usage

See Wikipedia:Stub for general guidelines on proposing stub templates and categories. DO NOT simply create new stub templates, as these will be deleted. Any article created in the past three months is eligible to be listed here. You don't have to list all of your creations, but any that might be of interest to other users would be welcomed (all stubs are probably notable). Alternatively, if you have created many articles on similar subjects, you might want to choose one as an example of the new additions to the WikiProject.

[edit] Did You Know?Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Main Wikipedia page. DYK has a 5-day time limit from the creation of the article. Below are listed all of the Luxembourg-related articles featured in DYK.

[edit] Featured list candidates[edit] AssessmentThe assessment department focuses on assessing the quality of Wikipedia's articles on Luxembourg. Currently, the article ratings are used primarily within the project itself to aid in recognising excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work. The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{WikiProject Luxembourg article}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in a set of categories that serves as the basis for an automatically generated worklist.
