  • Kanaka Maoli flag, (nationalist flag) also known as the ‘original’ Hawaiian flag” Consists of horizontal stripes of three colors, top down: green, red, and yellow repeated three times (nine stripes total). In the center a green shield (same green as the green stripe) with in it two crossed paddle with a Kahili in front (all three items are the same yellow as the yellow stripe). This flag is commonly found with native Hawaiians pride. It is also used for protesting against American rule and pro-Sovereignty demands.
