Wikipedia:WikiProject Georgia Tech/Collaboration Nomination

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page shamelessly stolen from Wikipedia:WikiProject Nintendo/Collaboration of the fortnight.

Roughly each fortnight (two weeks), Wikipedians from WikiProject Georgia Tech nominate an article to become the collaboration of the fortnight. The aim is to produce B-class or better articles, through widespread cooperative editing. Any article in WikiProject Georgia Tech articles may be nominated.

As we are a small project, don't expect all collaborations to last exactly one or two weeks. Some articles just need a few days of concentrated attention to excel; during the middle of a semester, it may take a month to make that same improvement.

[edit] Selection process

Nominate an article you feel needs attention. When Disavian picks the next one, your view will be taken into account.

[edit] Nominating articles

To nominate an article, list it under the nominees section with a short justification.

[edit] Considerations

  • Giving good reasons will help others in supporting your nomination.
  • Articles should interest a wide number of people, so many can contribute to the article's improvement.
  • If you're thinking of renominating an article which has recently failed, consider waiting a month before renominating it.
