- There are currently 5,213 articles attributed to the project, an increase of 86 from last month, a slow month.
- There are currently 2,630 stubs attributed to the project, it would be great to see a large dent taken out of this pile. Help us out here if you can.
- Fifteen articles are at FA level and sixteen are GA level articles, with no increase at FA status and an increase of one at GA status.
- The project would also like to continue an article improvement drive attempt. Anyone willing to help out with bringing the Restaurant article up to GA status would be a wonderful help. The article is in need of a lot of work and the help of multiple people in the project would be great.
- The
 Food Portal has been updated for the month of February.
- The Wine Portal which is associated with this project has gone the Featured status.
- There are currently four merge proposal listed for the project. Please help by going to the pages and giving your opinion on these merge proposals.

- Articles can be "tagged" currently by placing {{WikiProject Food and drink}} in an article's talk page. Please help out with accessing articles for the project once they are tagged as well. This is a tedious job for the few people who are doing it right now. Listed here are other tags you can use for identifying articles as well as yourself as a member of the project and some other useful items as well.
