WikiProject Fire Service
Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to the Fire Service, which is the work that firefighters do around the world each day. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. WikiProject Fire Service exists to better coordinate efforts to expand, organize, and improve Wikipedia's coverage of articles related to the fire service.
[edit] Similar Projects
This project works closely with Portal:Fire, which hasn't been updated in a while. In addition to the project page, our editors will make a concerted effort to update that portal.
This project is a spin off of two great projects which cover related fields:
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Fire Protection - discusses areas of fire protection equipment related to fire alarm systems
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Disaster management - discusses major disasters which includes many fires and emergency management.
