Contents |
[edit] Goals
- To define what items should be included in a list, to undertake appropriate cleanups in lists that have been tagged for cleanup and to make sure the conditions of "Keep" decisions on lists that have survived AfD are met.
- To set priorities in creating missing lists, if they are found to be needed and to decide on merging or splitting lists where needed.
- To define on a uniform presentation and formatting across series of lists. Such concerns as the form of the list (simple list, tabled list) the bolding of titles, the inclusion of red links, the inclusion of templates and navigations should be standardized within each series and where possible in related series or groups of lists.
- To decide on a uniform presentation and formatting of navigation templates and their placement in series of lists or articles. This should include also footer templates connecting various articles, such as awarded films, filmographies, etc.
- To set limits to the kinds of navigation templates that may be used in film articles.
[edit] To do
- Lists of films by country
- Check for lists that are empty or unformatted and help by:
- formatting them in tables, as in the List of South African films. After the table, include external links with the appropriate IMDb A-Z country listing, and underneath inclue the appropriate {{Template:Cinemaof(Country)}} , followed by {{Template:Worldcinema}}. During the formatting, please, use the {{inuse}} tag at the top of the page to avoid edit conflicts.
- filling them up by running through the relevant country-films category (including subcategories) and making sure sure all films that have articles for are listed (unless you find them too unimportant to be listed).
- finding some of the most notable missing films of this country. Please, do not enter films unless you think they are worth mentioning, and where possible give a short notability note in the last column (won or nominated for X award, etc)
- The following lists were nominated for deletion and were kept. They may need cleanup to comply with the terms of the "keep" votes (see their talk pages for a link to the AfD archive). Most importantly each entry should be followed by a short note of the role the subject matter plays in each film. See List of films featuring the United States Marine Corps as an example of this effort, but do not use a table necessarily.
- List of computer-related films
- List of biker films
- List of films about disability
- List of films with disabled protagonists
- List of films featuring mental illness
- List of mainstream films with unsimulated sex
- List of films with a pedophile theme
- Check for more lists in Lists of films#By type of character and Lists of films#By subject matter that may need cleanup or justification notes.
