[edit] Guidelines

[edit] Naming conventions
In addition to WP:NC(S), participants should adhere to these guidelines when creating/moving Australian education-related articles.
[edit] Names of schools
- Generally, abbreviations should be expanded to the school's full name. To the right are some examples of common abbreviations. For example, Kalamunda Senior High School should be used in place of Kalamunda SHS. In addition to common abbreviations, lesser-known abbreviations should not be used, e.g. University of Western Australia rather than UWA.
- When there are abbreviations in a school's name (for example A. Y. Jackson Secondary School), full stops ('periods') must be used after each letter.

- Public and private education in Australia - Found this article tagged as needing immediate attention. Seems to be listed due to lack of sourced material. Is classed as of mid importance. Not sure how this would be classed for this Project as it hasnt yet been tagged. Boylo (talk) 09:14, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
