- Create any of the missing articles listed on the WikiProject Ecology page

- Expand any of the articles tagged with the {{ecology-stub}} template listed in Ecology stubs
[edit] Categorisation
- Tag new articles which belong to Category:Sustainability as such (also Category:Environment, and Category:Ecology)
- Reclassify article categories. Change articles to more appropriate category, or give multiple categories where appropriate.
- Identify feature articles, pages needing attention,
- Can you come up with a better classification scheme?
- Add ecologists and others into list of people by name

- Create a template to link desert articles
- Create a template to link climate articles
- Create a template to link soil types, and write articles on each soil type (e.g. FAO soil classification)
- Create a template to link ecozones and ecoregions, and label countries or regions with their ecozone
- Create a template to link ecotope articles, if appropriate when the ecotope article is created
- Create a template to link various -spheres such as biosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere
Create a template to link biological interaction articles. e.g. Parasitism, Symbiosis(done)- Create a template to link biomes (no longer used in ecology?)
- Create a template to link Endangered species + add them all to Category:Endangered_species
- Note: Subcategories, rather than templates, would often be appropriate

- Create a resource of useful links to external information on topics
- Discuss with organisations the possibility of licensing their information under GNU FDL or a compatible license
- Replace any of the links on the broken links list with good ones if needed

- Start an assessment page.
- Assess articles, determine how many articles fit within this topic. May get a bot to mark articles so we know how many there are and to encourage editors to assess them.
