This WikiProject aims to organize, improve the quality, and provide accurate information on Wikipedia articles about Cornwall and all things Cornish. The importance of these articles for new users, research, education, and the pursuit of accumulated knowledge will be accomplished through our efforts in providing a consistent format and standard to our articles.

Scope and Motivation Scope and Motivation

This project covers articles relating to Cornwall, a county of England in the United Kingdom.

  1. As one of the six historic Celtic nations, Cornwall has a distinct culture and identity than that of England.
  2. Cornwall has its own flag, language, patron saint and anthem.
  3. There is a movement for greater autonomy in the county.
  4. The Duchy of Cornwall is one of two royal duchies in England, along with the Duchy of Lancaster.
  5. Iconic Cornish images include pasties, surfing, tin mines, and clotted cream.

WikiProject Cornwall hopes to improve the standard of all related articles to introduce Cornwall's unique culture to the wider Wikipedia audience, and to educate and inform the world about all things Cornish.
