[edit] STB instructions

The superteambox should use {{Superteambox}} as shown below. Copy and paste the following text at the beginning of the team's article:

{| style="background: transparent;"
|
{{Superteambox
|name=
|image=
|imagesize=
|caption=
|team_name=
|publisher=
|debut=
|creators=
|base=
|members=
|memberlist=
|subcat=
|hero=
|villain=
|sortkey={{PAGENAME}}
|}}
  • Parameter notes:
    • With the exception of team_name, do not delete a parameter - leave the field blank if there is nothing to enter. If the article name is the same as the the name to be used for the infobox, team_name can be removed.
    • Where a field has multiple items, separate each with
. For example: creators=Stan Lee
Jack Kirby
    • The image field is setup use the file name only and with out braces. For example: image= example.jpg
    • The imagesize parameter is set up to only accept a numeric value. If left blank or if a sting (such as "225px") is entered, the image will default to 250px wide.
      • If you find the image to be too tall, reduce the value below 250.
      • The parameter is capped at 250. Entering values grater than this will result in the default setting being used.
    • The caption will appear below the image. Keep it short, but indicate the comic book and issue # if it is from a comic book, in the form Wolverine #17 (typed as ''Wolverine'' #17))
    • For the debut field, provide the first appearance of the team AS a team (with the team named on either the cover or within the comic). Example: Brave and The Bold #28, Avengers v1 #1.
    • The creators field should list the creators of the team, not the individual members.
    • Base should list a team's most significant bases, including the current one (where applicable). Limit this to three at most, however.
    • Members should list the past and present membership of the team. Again, separate with
, not commas. For teams that have included many different members, it may sometimes be appropriate to leave this blank and use Memberlist instead.
    • Memberlist should link to any article lists the members for this team. This should normally only be used for large teams, as a replacement for Members
    • This template is designed to place the articles into the relevant "super teams" categories. Entering the appropriate company at subcat will place the article.
    • Hero and villain are mutually exclusive logical functions. One of the two must be set for sub to work properly.
    • Sortkey is required for use with subcat. It can be changed for forcing a different sort in the category. This parameter will not recognize a leading space.
