Project
The Canadian music WikiProject is a project, created on March 18, 2007, that helps to assemble editors interested in Canadian music. The aim of this project is to standardize and improve articles related to the various genres of Canadian music, as well as to create missing articles. If you feel that you can have a positive contribution to the project, become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion forum.
Goals
The goals of this WikiProject are: To improve Wikipedia's coverage of Canadian music, by creating and improving articles and categories related to the subject.
Relatives
The parents of this WikiProject are Music and Regional and national music WikiProjects. There are presently no descendants of this WikiProject. If you feel a subproject focusing on a particular genre of Canadian music, or a particularly important artist, is warranted, please feel free to propose it on the discussion forum.
Tasks
If you are wondering where to start, take a look at these tasks: Clean up Music of Canada and Canadian Rock. Cross-reference List of Canadian musicians and List of bands from Canada against the appropriate categories to ensure that the lists are up to date and comprehensive. Monitor both of the above lists for inappropriate and redlinked additions. Identify artists and topics who either have no articles at present, or whose articles need improvement. Add {{WikiProject Canada \| music=yes}} to the talk pages of articles.
