[edit] To do
- Can we make British Columbia an FA (Featured Article)??
- Expand articles listed in:
- Category:British Columbia stubs
- Category:British Columbia geography stubs
- Especially those found in the lists at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/British Columbia articles by quality that are High or Mid importance but are still only Stub or Start quality.
- Stubs in Category:Provincial Parks of British Columbia.
- Organize list structure and add to list of needed articles:
- Check for and do needed articles at:
- Establish collaborations and improvements for British Columbia related articles
- For Photo Requests, add {{reqphotoin|British Columbia}} to the talk page. (see {{reqphotoin}})
- For Map Requests Use {{reqmapin|British Columbia}} on talk page of articles needing maps which will list maps needed at: Category:Wikipedia requested maps in British Columbia. As an alternative using {{coord|50|28|N|126|05|W|display=title|region:CA_type:waterbody}}, for example, as it appears on Johnstone Strait gives a link to map/sat images that is a reasonable alternative. See {{coord}} for more information. Also consider adding link to BC Government place name database using {{BCGNIS}} template.
- Assessments
- Review existing assessment of articles and reassess following WikiProject British Columbia/Assessment
- Clarify assessment criteria at WikiProject British Columbia/Assessment
- Add BC Project tag to remaining BC Highways. See note at Category talk:British Columbia provincial highways.
- Cleanup BC-STV.
- There are getting to be quite a few B Class articles in this project. The next step in the assessment process is to nominate these articles as Good Articles following the nomination process.
- Add BCProject template to articles within project scope following these steps. Use {{WikiProject Canada|bc=yes|class=Stub|importance=low}} following the assessment guidelines (importance = low, mid, high or top, class = stub, start, b, ga, a or fa). Here are some of the many BC categories (drill to sub and parent categories as well) where you can look for untagged articles and articles to expand:
BC | Provincial Parks | Prot Area Stubs | Parks | Settlements | Islands | SFU | UBC | UVic | UNB | Senators | People | Geography | Highways | Mayors of Vancouver | MLAs | Premiers | Islands | Victoria | Transportation | Elections | History | Fjords | Education | Nanaimo | Museums | Sports | Culture | Restaurants | Bridges | Tourism | Media | Cities | Victoria History | Lakes | Politics | People from Victoria | Hotels | BC Lions Players | Airports | Politicians | Explorers | Volcanoes | Visitor Attractions | Railway Stations | Organizations | Transit Agencies | Mountain Ranges | Pre-Confederation people | Companies | Private Schools | Lieutenant Governors | Law Enforcement | Mayors | MPs | Curlers | Trees | Natural history |Highways
