- March 29, 2008 - Paul Pierce was chosen as the April Project Collaboration of the Month.
- March 6, 2008 - The tagging and assessment of all players ever with the Celtics was completed.
- March 1, 2008 - The "assessing team" started assessing articles in the projects' scope. See here for more information.
- March 1, 2008 - The first newsletter for WikiProject Boston Celtics is published, being sent to all 9 members.

- April 5, 2008 - The Celtics clinched homecourt advantage through the playoffs in a game with the Charlotte Bobcats in which neither Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, or Paul Pierce played.
- March 20, 2008 - After defeating the Dallas Mavericks 94-91, the Celtics mastered the Texas Triangle (the 3 NBA teams from Texas, which are the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, and Dallas Mavericks), becoming the first team to do so since 2001.
- March 6, 2008 - The Boston Celtics defeated the Detroit Pistons, clinching a playoff spot.
- March 3, 2008 - Gabe Pruitt was assigned to the Utah Flash of the NBA's D-League.
- March 3, 2008 - Guard Sam Cassell was signed by the Celtics, confirming claims by Cassell's agent, David Falk.
- February 27, 2008 - Power forward P.J. Brown is signed.
