[edit] Jacobus Groenendaal

This article is part of a series of Orange Free State biographies. This is a new article about the first nineteenth-century State Secretary of the Orange Free State. As created, it is more than a stub and I am looking for at least a class=Start in both listed Projects.Michel Doortmont (talk) 23:15, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Javascript review

The following suggestions were generated with the aid of a semi-automatic javascript program:

  • An image may be hard to come by and acquiring one will most likely construe original research. Michel Doortmont (talk) 13:27, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
  • It is now confirmed that Groenendaal died in 1860, which makes it highly unlikely an image will turn up. Photographs in the 1850s were still Daguerrotypes, which are now very rare. I can not imagine a drawing or painting turning up, although it is not impossible. Michel Doortmont (talk) 16:08, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
  • You may wish to consider adding an appropriate infobox for this article, if one exists relating to the topic of the article.[?]
  • This article is a bit too short, and therefore may not be as comprehensive as it could be. Please see if anything can be expanded upon.[?]
  • This article is about a relevant historical office holder, but of secondary importance. It may therefore be slightly problematic to add information without original research. Will check Suid Afrikaanse Biografiese Woordenboek for an entry and relevant references. Michel Doortmont (talk) 13:50, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Checked literature and added a considerable amount of information. Michel Doortmont (talk) 16:08, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Request for B-status

It is my feeling that the article now qualifies for B-status. If you agree, make it happen! Michel Doortmont (talk) 16:08, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
