Wikipedia:WikiProject Anthroponymy/Arabic names task force
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Arabic names task force within WikiProject Anthroponymy was once a stand-alone WikiProject. After it had lapsed into inactivity, a suggestion at converting the WikiProject to a Task Force was cross-posted between the original parent of WikiProject Arabic names, WikiProject Arab world, and WikiProject Anthroponymy. After the passage of several months with only positive or neutral comments, the action was taken to enact the merger, with this Task Force being the result.
[edit] Mission objectives
The statement below has been retained from the original WikiProject prior to conversion to Task Force status
This is a project aimed at increasing the quality of the articles related to the Arabic names, elevating the articles to "Good article" standard, and then all the way to "Featured article" standard.
We do this by:
- Making sure all statments are sourced using the "<ref>source</ref>" model
- Making sure the articles follow the given standards.
As of 2006-08-13, we have 0 (Zero) articles at the "Good article" standard and 0 (zero) at the "Featured article" standard.
{{WikiProject Arabic names}} is added to the top of the talk pages of any articles relevant to this project. This will make them appear on the Category:WikiProject Arabic names.
