[edit] Requested Players

Players should be classified under categories such as Category:Collingwood Magpies players, which are subcategories of Category:VFL/AFL players. Feel free to add your own players under this listing.

In the entire history of the VFL/AFL competition, which began in 1897, there have been 19 different clubs to compete in the competition. In that time, there has been a total of 14,027 players to have represented one of these clubs (although note this is a combined total of all clubs' players, some players have represented more than one club). Wikipedia aims to document as many of these players as possible (a big task, although we don't expect players which there is not much information on to be represented).
