[edit] Acceleration

I'm not sure I agree with your reversion at acceleration. For starters, the section is written in an incredibly unencyclopedic tone, not to mention that the spelling and grammar isn't that great in the first place. Second, it's really odd to say that positive and negative acceleration are two "types" of acceleration, not to mention possibly misleading. The article is poorly written as it is, and the fact that acceleration can be positive or negative should be touched upon in a layman's explanation, but this is just an odd way of putting it. And it's just not true that physics doesn't have a way to model angular momenta -- see angular momentum, angular velocity, angular acceleration, angular speed, etc.

All in all, I think that while the article certainly needs work, the new section hurts more than it helps. -- RG2 02:55, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
