[edit] Thanks for your voting!
Hi, thanks for your voting on my RFA. It has finished with the result 88/14/9, and I am promoted. I am really overwhelmed with the amount of support I have got. With some of you we have edited many articles as a team, with some I had bitter arguments in the past, some of you I consider to be living legends of Wikipedia and some nicks I in my ignorance never heard before. I love you all and I am really grateful to you.
If you feel I can help you or Wikipedia as a human, as an editor or with my newly acquired cleaning tools, then just ask and I will be happy to assist. If you will feel that I do not live up to your expectation and renegade on my promises, please contact me. Maybe it was not a malice but just ignorance or a short temper. Thank you very much, once more! abakharev 07:34, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Okkervil River
Hi there! Are you an Okkervil River fan too? I've posted a comment on Talk:Okkervil River about the Tolstaya and Tolstoy. Are you certain they're not related? I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks. :) 71.240.184.165 03:30, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CALUMO
I did what you said and created an article on CALUMO and then reinstated the link which you (I think) had removed. All hunky dory. But within ONE minute (I kid you not) there was a speedy delete tag on the article and now it has gone. I assure you the product is real and live and is, essentially (although perhaps SPF wouldn't want to see it phrased quite like this), SPFplus re-worked and ported to a MS platform, albeit with enhancements along the way. And that product has 200 sales and 9500 users under its belt so it does exist. CALUMO is live at roughly half a dozen sites now. But I am not employed by (or otherwise involved with) the company and so cannot vouch for the exact number. How do I go forward from here? Paul Beardsell 04:25, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:David_Ionovich_Bronstein.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:David_Ionovich_Bronstein.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:WindowsLiveSearch.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:WindowsLiveSearch.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Panorama Software
I may need help with completing the removal process request. The article was up for deletion before and was recreated. If you type "panorama software" in the search it come to this page rather then the categories page about panorama photography. Your help would be appreciated ! John Spikowski 19:20, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
The redirect doesn't solve the problem. We are back to square one. If you search on "panorama software" then your directed to this renamed page. Can the redirection be removed and "Panorama Software" page be declared a category and not reused again? John Spikowski 05:54, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Panorama_Software_%28BI%29"
The best solution would be to remove the Panorama Software page altogether so the "Panorama Software" category is found when doing a search instead of this blank page with a category reference. John Spikowski 18:18, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Adcenter promo.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Adcenter promo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Berkovsky CDCover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Berkovsky CDCover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:00, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:MikhailScherbakov.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:MikhailScherbakov.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:04, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
