[edit] Liminal property
Are you sure about the article liminal property that you created? I've never seen "liminal" being used in this way, Google has no hits for "liminally connected" or "liminally compact", and it seems the only use of the word in MathSciNet refers to a certain property of C* algebras (if I understand it correctly, a C* algebra is liminal if every irreducible representation consists of compact operators). Please do see if you can add some references to the article, because otherwise we might have to delete the article. Thanks. -- Jitse Niesen (talk) 04:41, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Origin of the term
"Liminally" is a term I have heard used colloquially and in some talks. I have never come accross it in a published article, although to be fair, I have never looked. I suppose I did not wonder as to the origin of the term because it seemed natural enough that one would exist to resolve the ambiguity of "locally". I will try asking some people who use the term if they can cite a reference for its use. Wikimorphism 07:57, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notice of proposed deletion: "Liminal property"
Since we seem unable to find examples of uses of "liminal" as described in the article, I have tagged "Liminal property" for deletion. If there are no objections, it will quietly disappear after five days. (See WP:PROD.) --KSmrqT 14:06, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
