Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Sport. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. --Pak21 14:22, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, and if an article has commercial links, clearly the situation will be improved by adding commercial links to other articles as well. That will obviously make things better. Please also see Wikipedia's policy on no personal attacks. Cheers --Pak21 07:29, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, it was reasonable to remove it. I don't have time to go through the approximately 1,100 pages on my watchlist and work out which links are appropriate and which aren't. However, if I see an obviously spam link such as yours being added to an article, I will remove it. The simple fact of the matter is that your link does not meet Wikipedia's guideline on external links and therefore there is simply no basis for this discussion. I further not that I am not the only editor to have removed this link; what I did was completely standard Wikipedia practice. Cheers --Pak21 09:20, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
