Please do not remove speedy deletion nomination tags. You are welcome to put a {{hangon}} tag if you want to dispute the nomination (and discuss it on the talk page). I will restore the speedy tag. Thanks, --Hansnesse 06:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia. The above message is a pretty poor job of welcoming a new user, and for that I apologize. You may find it helpful to sign your comments on talk pages (just type four tildes: ~~~~) to help keep track of who said what without having to consult the page history. Although we may disagree about the status of this article, I do hope you'll stick around and contribute. I'm always happy to see another user who has been touched by his noodly appendage. Feel free to write a note on my talk page (don't forget to sign) if I can help with anything (there are also some methods for asking questions mentioned in the boilerplate welcome I'm putting below). Thanks again, --Hansnesse 07:26, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gideon Rachman
I have reverted your edits. He was also, and most importantly, Charlemagne. Here is where he claims so. RCSB 12:43, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- I think you misunderstood Gideon: He wrote his blog post before I corrected the entry. The original entry claimed that his last job at The Economist was Charlemagne. He meant to say that although he was indeed Charlemagne - this wasn't his last position at The Economist. But I am guessing you read his blog post after I had already corrected it (adding that he was also business editor - his last job). Therefore, you mistakenly surmised that he was referring to the corrected version as being incorrect. RCSB 14:47, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

- You're absolutely correct, I hadn't read his post correctly and stand corrected, thanks! Wikimam 16:48, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bob Proctor
The article Bob Proctor has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 01:44, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- There weren't any sources in the article showing Mr. Proctor's notability. If you have some, feel free to repost. NawlinWiki 02:17, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's the author's job to cite sources. See Wikipedia:Verifiability. NawlinWiki 02:19, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- If you had followed the link to the secret program you would have seen him being referred to. Wikimam 02:24, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
