Could you please not remove the {{Massachusetts-State-Highway-Stub}} until the SFD debate has concluded? Thanks. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 08:21, 6 November 2005 (UTC) You wrote:
Hi, sorry, didn't mean to delete it. Noticed the MA highway stub was up for deletion and wanted to start a new one for the articles I created (titled Massachusetts-road-stubs as was suggested). I see you're a road enthusiast too??
Yup... that's basically all I do on Wikipedia. Um... well as it stands now the stub won't be deleted, maybe just renamed. I'd wait on that until we figure out what will happen to all the road stubs. As for the NY highways template... we find that those templates only work for states with few highways... not for states like New York or California (the resulting template would be huge). Sorry about that though. If you have any questions you can talk to me here. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 23:15, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
- In regards to the MA stub you created... let's wait until next week to decide what to do since we don't know if the old one will be deleted or not. I'm not quite sure what to do with the Florida template though. Large templates are generally frowned upon on Wikipedia in favor of the page called "List of x numbered highways" where x is a state, as well as the category called "X state highways." --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 04:57, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- Just a few suggestions: when you are inserting a template you can just type in {{Florida State Highways}} for example... you don't have to cut and paste. Also, I've redirected the "Hawaii State Highways" and such templates to "List of Hawaii state highways" (or whatever the list is called) since the only contents of the former were a template (that was copied and pasted). It's not a problem though, it does take a while to figure everything out on Wikipedia. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 03:45, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Templates
A concern I have: U.S. Highway 6 already has 2 state highway templates. We can't have this for highways like I-95 for example (15 states?) --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 00:21, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion of 'liberal wikipedians' category
Hi. I saw you're (like me) listed in this category which is up for deletion. Hoped you'd like to vote in favor of keeping it... Thanks! Larix 02:21, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:DanaMA.jpeg
Thanks for uploading Image:DanaMA.jpeg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 05:10, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wilmasign.jpg)
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Wilmasign.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sue Anne 22:18, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Denver 2008
Hey, how's it goin'? I see you've joined a campaign I started here on Wikipedia; Wikipedians for Denver 2008. Thanks for your support. With your help and that of others here on the 'pedia, and abroad, we'll bring the DNC home to the west! I'm Editor19841 by the way, a Denver native and contributor since October 2005. If you've got any questions, comments, etc., always feel free to ask via my talk page. Anyhow, have a good one. Editor19841 22:57, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Denver 2008 - the latest
Hey, Wikicali00. I'm dropping by the talk pages of Wikipedians for Denver 2008 today with an update on the bidding process and where Denver's bid is currently at.
First off, Denver has a new, unofficial bid homepage up today: http://www.denverdnc2008.com/ , which you may want to check out for more info on the bid to bring the DNC to the Mile High City in '08.
Second, today the site-selection committee is expected to announce the final two cities in the bid for 2008. It's expected by most pundits and bloggers that Denver and St. Paul will likely be the two finalists, but many think that dark horse New York may edge out a seat in the final days of the bidding process.
Third, we're expecting an official site for Denver's bid to emerge within days from the mind of Colorado Democratic Party V.C. Dan Slater (founder and operator of the popular Colorado blog Demonotes).
Well, that's the basics of the day-after-Labor Day DNC update, from a dem from Denver (that'd be me). If your looking for more info on the process that this is all about, check out the premier blog for doing so, http://demconwatch.blogspot.com (a link is on my page: links section for both this blog, Demnotes, and Denver 2008). If you’re looking for more info on the Democratic Party straight from the donkey's mouth check out http://www.democrats.org the official site of the Democratic National Committee.
Anyhow, have a good one. Editor19841 (talk) 23:34, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

I'll have to check it out. I'll admit I have forgotten to sign some of my comments in the past, but that IP doesn't look familiar... I'll check what mine is at home.. Thanks! User:Wikicali00
Yep, it's me... Thanks... Sorry about the confusion! User:Wikicali00

[edit] AfD nomination of Newington Mall
- Newington Mall, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Newington Mall satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Newington Mall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Newington Mall during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps•Review?) 18:44, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps the article (or a portion of it) could be incorporated into a greater New Hampshire shopping center page? We could consolidate them neatly without all the "fluff" that's already there. Just a suggestion. If nothing else, whereas most NH malls draw a lot of business from Massachusetts, Newington/Fox Run are situated conveniently next to the state of Maine, and depend greatly on Maine shoppers due to NH's lack of sales tax. It is also only one (out of two) malls that had Filene's as an anchor store which become a secondary Macy's after the Federated/May merger. Cape Cod Mall is the other. -J
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Debbifields.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Debbifields.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:54, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Not a problem.
I understand. Do what you have to do. If I posted a little more often, I'd probably be less likely to make these mistakes. I do have a few pictures I'm considering adding to articles in the near future (one is of the 2007 San Diego wildfires), and they're pics I've taken, so there won't be any copyright issues. Thanks for the notice. jeff (talk) 23:16, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Do what you have to do. It's just a picture I took of the sign that I Photoshopped. I knew from the beginning that it was in a gray area, so people who are on here more often would likely have a better grasp on "good gray"
and "bad gray" (if you know what I mean). Thanks. jeff (talk) 15:24, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
