[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Maewhitman.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Maewhitman.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 19:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Nickelodeon Shocktober

Nickelodeon Shocktober, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Nickelodeon Shocktober satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nickelodeon Shocktober and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Nickelodeon Shocktober during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Caldorwards4 22:51, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 04:37, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] drake and josh question

Where are you getting the production codes for any episodes, especially the ones for episodes that are supposedly unaired, and source is needed for the unaired episodes, besides a user submitted site such as tv.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.184.160.211 (talk) 23:26, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

tv.com is only useful if they reference a valid source for their info, but the drake and josh episodes that were listed have no such source. 67.184.160.211 —Preceding comment was added at 23:35, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://us.imdb.com/title/tt1043867. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 05:03, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Release dates

For the majority of games, the release date is when the publisher ships it. Most stores don't get it until the next day. For example, Super Mario Galaxy gets released on November 12th, but only the Nintendo World Store will be selling it that day (most stores won't get it until November 13th). [edit] The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse

A tag has been placed on The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Merge to The Day of Black Sun

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Neilmodi (talk) 01:55, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Hello. I removed some categories you placed on your user page. Those categories such as "2000s American Television Shows" are intended to be used for articles and not as a link on your user page. By doing so, you've added your user page to the category of "2000s American Television Shows" which is inaccurate. The rest of your page should to addressed as well. [edit] Your edit summary usage

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. [edit] License tagging for Image:MagicalDoremi34.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:MagicalDoremi34.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:09, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sst.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sst.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sst.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sst.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:54, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:DoReMiLogo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:DoReMiLogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:25, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Renovation of "List of Magical DoReMi episodes" page

Hello there. I came across the aforementioned page, and realized that the page is in serious need of a clean-up. Seeing that you are pretty much like the main editor of the page, I wanted to see if you wouldn't mind me tinkering around a bit. Right now, I'm not all too familiar with all of Wikipedia's features, so I'll just work on the plot summaries. Seeing as there are differences between dub and original, I think it's best to place the summary of the dub first, then point out key differences between it and the original. So...that's it. If there's anything else you need to tell me about, then please contact me. I'll check back here occasionally to see if you have anything to say. Okay? Okay! Let's start! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Umandsf (talkcontribs) 01:32, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

I checked the page and saw the changes you made. I was wondering if I could talk to you about two of them. First, I noticed that for the summaries I put up, you truncated them. I understand that, since I myself thought it was a bit too wordy after a while, but I noticed also that you reverted to ending the summary with a question. May I point out that this is not really a good thing to do? The point of an episode summary is to sumarize the episode. If you look around Wikipedia, you see articles about movies and whatnot with full synposes of the plot. Leaving it with a question at the end like that is really poor practice. You're not revealing the entirety of the episode, because you're leaving it to the reader to go find out themselves. That's not the point of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a source of information, and everyone is entitled to its entirety. Second, that list of episode titles at the end. Is it really necessary? The table already has the English and Japanese titles on it. Why would you need a second list? Anyway, once I get back on schedule with all my work, I'll help with the summaries, but do try to make it to the best quality that an encyclopedia should have. Umandsf (talk) 02:32, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually, I had a good look of Wikipedia's policy concerning television episodes, so I think I'm prepared to at least fix up some of the summaries. Still, it's bad practice to end with a question. It sounds more like a plug. Sorry to be bothering you so much, but I want to make sure it's a good page. Umandsf (talk) 02:52, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rocket Monkeys

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Rocket Monkeys, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Rocket Monkeys. Also, please do not make major unsourced changes, as you did at List of SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, season six. [edit] Magical DoReMi‎

Please do not undo the clean up Magical DoReMi‎. The edits done fixed the invalidly formatted infobox, removed inappropriate content, and made some much needed MOS formatting fixes. Your blanket undoing of this edits was not appropriate. Please remember you do not own the article, and that above all else, the article must be kept in line with Wikipedia guidelines and the Anime and manga MOS. It would really help if you included edit summaries to changes you make on the article as well. It is helpful to other editors. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 04:21, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
This edit was not appropriate. Please take some time to familiarize yourself in the proper use of the infobox templates.
