Be BOLD!

[edit] Fitna news item

Is there a reason that you are blanking a properly sourced news item without providing an edit summary? Is there a reason that you marked the removal as a minor edit? Perhaps you are unaware that the unexplained removal of text is likely to be controversial. I suggest Help:Edit summary as reading material. --Elliskev 12:57, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Clever. Change the conversation to questioning my motives for reverting your unexplained blanking... I assure you that I have no stake in the movie.
I don't really care if it stays or if it goes. I also don't care how often you edit the current events portal. I don't care how long you've been inserting and removing text of Wikipedia. I don't care what you think of the item. I don't care what you think about any news item.
Removing an item once is fine - WP:BOLD and all that. But, you need to provide an explanation for doing so. Removing it a second time without explanation is unacceptable. It is indicative of a lack of understanding of how Wikipedia works. Or do you just not care? --Elliskev 13:46, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Portal:Current events/2008 March 27. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. --Elliskev 00:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
