• • I currently have little access to great libraries, and thus must rely on online sources (obviously preferring to use scholarly sites where I can). I used to live elsewhere with great libraries within 2-5 miles, and miss them very much.

• • I read almost everything. My favorite fiction genres are currently historical novel, science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, historical mystery etc. In non-fiction, I like history, biography, and other stuff.

• • English is my native and professional language, but it is not my mother-tongue (as in the native language of my mother). I speak four other languages with varying degrees of fluency, and am rusty in three of them.
