Yes, the template is protected to prevent the adding of unfavorable edits. Well, I wish the protection plate should be taken off sometimes. [edit] Too drastic

Rather than applying this protection, why not just ban or block users who would make disruptive edits on the template? Because this drastic stuff is applied, only few could modify it for correction purposes or to make it better. 124.106.200.221 (talk) 23:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
