	This article is within the scope of WikiProject Taxation, an effort to create, expand, organize, and improve tax-related articles to a feature-quality standard.
This template adds Category:WikiProject Taxation articles automatically to the Talk pages of articles where it is placed. Other categories may be added depending on the parameters selected. This template is a self-reference. Please add it to the article's talk page.

This template employs intricate features of template syntax. You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with its setup and parser functions before editing the template. If your edit causes unexpected problems, please undo it quickly, as this template may appear on a large number of pages. Remember that you can conduct experiments, and should test all improvements, in either the general Template sandbox or your user space before changing anything here.

The following values may be used for the class parameter:

• FA (adds articles to Category:FA-Class taxation articles)
• A (adds articles to Category:A-Class taxation articles)
• GA (adds articles to Category:GA-Class taxation articles)
• B (adds articles to Category:B-Class taxation articles)
• Start (adds articles to Category:Start-Class taxation articles)
• Stub (adds articles to Category:Stub-Class taxation articles)
• NA (for pages, such as templates or disambiguation pages, where assessment is unnecessary; adds pages to Category:Non-article taxation pages)

Articles for which a valid class is not provided are listed in Category:Unassessed taxation articles. The class should be assigned according to the quality scale below.

The following values may be used for the priority parameter:

• Top (adds articles to Category:Top-priority taxation articles)
• High (adds articles to Category:High-priority taxation articles)
• Mid (adds articles to Category:Mid-priority taxation articles)
• Low (adds articles to Category:Low-priority taxation articles)

The parameter is not used if an article's class is set to NA, and may be omitted in those cases. The priority should be assigned according to the priority scale below. Note that the priority is used on the workgroup lists only.

The following optional values may be used for Peer review:

• peer-review=yes
• old-peer-review=yes

The following optional values may be used for Taxation Collaboration of the Month:

• COTM-nom=yes
• COTM=yes

The following optional values may by used for small or nested formating:

• nested=yes
• small=yes
