Template:WikiProject Oregon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Usage
The {{WikiProject Oregon}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. All parameters are optional and add extra features to the banner and categorize the article accordingly. The full syntax is as follows:
{{WikiProject Oregon | small = | class = | importance = | nested = | reqphoto = | attention = }}
Template display formatting parameters:
- small - reduces the size of the template display.
- yes - use reduced size icon small=yes, otherwise it is normal size
Article assessment parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see Wikipedia:WikiProject Oregon/Assessment for more details. Valid values are:
- FA - The article has reached Featured article status.
- FL - The list has reached Featured list status.
- A - Could be submitted as a Featured article candidate; probably could use some small updates to make it Featured quality.
- GA - The article has reached Good article status.
- B - Could be submitted as a Good article nominee; probably could use some updates or may lack some features from the Good article criteria, but it presents a good overview of the subject.
- Start - The article is more than a stub, but may lack some important aspects of the topic's discussion.
- Stub - The article is a stub; it likely contains one of the Oregon stub templates.
- Dab/Disambig - For disambiguation pages limited to Oregon-related topics. Should be used sparingly.
- List - Specifies Wikipedia:Lists, as opposed to an article in paragraph format.
Adding the template to non-article Category, Template, Image or Portal pages will automatically place the page into the proper category. No further parameters are necessary.

- Top
- High
- Mid
- Low
- reqphoto - requests a photo for Wikipedia:WikiProject Oregon. Valid values are (case insensitive):
- Yes - Indicates the article is not geographically based (biographies, lists, general history, etc.) so anyone—anywhere—might be able to help.

- Eugene - Eugene area
- Willamette Valley - valley locations not near the cities above

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
