From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This WikiProject banner uses {{WPBannerMeta}}, a meta-template for easily creating and maintaining banners and talk-page notices. Any recently-appearing error or display issue which is not obviously caused by a recent edit to this template is probably due to an error in, or recent update to, Template:WPBannerMeta or one of its subpages. Please report any such errors to Template talk:WPBannerMeta or on the talkpage of one of its maintainers, so that any errors can be fixed for this and other projects. |
Usage
The {{WikiProject Norway}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:
Syntax
{WikiProject Norway |class= |attention= }}
Use in practice
{{WikiProject Norway |class=A <!-- FA, A, GA, B, Start, Stub, Dab, Cat and Template--> |attention=yes <!-- Immediate attention required. Needed by some bots. --> <!-- More information available at --> <!-- "Category:Norway articles needing attention" --> }}
General parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see Wikipedia:WikiProject Norway/Assessment for more details. Valid values are:
- FA - The article has reached Featured article status.
- A - Could be submitted as a Featured article candidate; probably could use some small updates to make it Featured quality.
- GA - The article has reached Good article status.
- B - Could be submitted as a Good article nominee; probably could use some updates or may lack some features from the Good article criteria, but it presents a good overview of the subject.
- Start - The article is more than a stub, but may lack some important aspects of the topic's discussion.
- Stub - The article is a stub; it likely contains one of the Norway stub templates.
- Dab - The page is a disambiguation page.
- Cat - The page is a category.
- Template - The page is a template.
- List - The page is a list.
- NA - The page is not an article, nor does it fit any of the above classes; typically project pages and resource pages would get this class.
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
