Please note: This template should be transcluded ({{WP Internet culture}}) and not substituted (subst) because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit thousands of pages.

- small: Answer yes to make the template small and along the right side of the page (as opposed to at the top.)
- class: Options are FA, A, GA, B, Start, Stub, Dab, Template, Cat, NA, List, FL, and SL. If blank, this will default as Unassessed. Descriptions of the options can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Internet culture/Assessment#Quality scale. NA is "not applicable".
- importance: Top, High, Mid, Low, NA. If blank, this will default as Unknown priority. NA is "not applicable". Descriptions of the options can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Internet culture/Assessment#Priority scale.
- attention: Answer yes if the article needs immediate attention. Places it in Category:Internet culture articles needing attention. Leave blank or omit if not needed. Use only if another parameter below does not cover the need for attention.
- needs-photo: Answer yes if the article needs a photo or photos. Places it in Category:Internet culture articles needing photos. Leave blank or omit if not needed.
