This template {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS}} adds articles to Category:WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state) articles and is a self-reference. Please add to relevant articles' talk pages.
This template should be transcluded as {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS}} and not substituted {{subst:}} because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit thousands of pages.
The template also employs several optional data field parameters as described below. For instructions on how to use the assessment parameters in this template, please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state)/Assessment#Instructions. [edit] Parameters legend
- class: Options are FA, FL, A, GA, B, Start, Stub, Dab, Image, Redirect, Template, Cat, List, Needed, NA, Portal. If blank, this will default as unassessed, showing a "???" code in the template. NA is "not applicable". Descriptions of the options can be found at WikiProject Georgia/Quality scale.
- importance: Top, High, Mid, Low, NA. If blank, this will default as unknown importance. NA is "not applicable". Only Top will have a visible effect on the template - the other options will just assign the correct category. Descriptions of the options can be found at WikiProject Georgia/Importance scale.
- attention: Answer yes if the page needs immediate attention. Leave blank or delete if not.
- past-biography: If this article has previously been selected as the Project's biography of the month, enter date as "Month Year". For example,
"past-biography=February 2007"
- past-collaboration: If this article has previously been selected as the Project's collaboration of the month, enter date as "Month Year". For example,
"past-collaboration=February 2007"
- past-picture: If an image in this article has previously been selected as the Project's picture of the month, enter date as "Month Year". For example,
"past-picture=February 2007"
- past-selected: If this article has previously been selected as the Project's article of the month, enter date as "Month Year". For example,
"past-selected=February 2007"
- imageneeded: Answer yes to request a photograph, image, or map of the subject be added to the article. Leave blank or delete if not.
- in: Used in conjunction with the imageneeded parameter to place the image request into a specific Georgia County. Leave blank or delete if not. For example,
"in=Ben Hill County, Georgia"
will place the article talk page into Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Ben Hill County, Georgia. - Additional in2 and in3 parameters used in conjunction with the imageneeded parameter may be used to specify up to three total location categories (such as for celebrities and other people who may frequent multiple locations).
- imagedetails: This free-form parameter can be used in conjunction with the imageneeded parameter to add specific details about the images being requested. For example,
"imagedetails=Please add a live-action shot to this sports article"
will add the following: "An editor suggests the following: Please add a live-action shot to this sports article." - nested: Answer yes if the template is to be nested under {{WikiProjectBannerShell}} on a talk page with three or more WikiProject banners. Leave blank if not yet.
- small: Answer yes if the template needs to be smaller and lined up vertically on the side of the talk page.
- unref: Answer yes if the article needs additional references or inline citations. Leave blank or delete if not.
