Downtown Navasota includes many activities including government (City Hall, Post Office), retail (wide range of shopping), commercial (offices, services), entertainment (movie theater, live performance stage, movie rental, billiards), dining (pizzerias, southern food, sandwich shops, etc.), residential (loft apartments), religious (numerous churches in and around downtown) and recreation (community swimming pool/rec. center, stadium, community garden, Cedar Creek trail and park). Photo taken in 2004 by Texas A&M University Urban Planning students.
