The number of pages here makes this category unfortunately rather confusing. They need to be sorted into sensible subcategories. -- Beland 06:59, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Yes, I'm having some trouble getting a grip on things, and am eager to help where I can, but so far have stuck to timidly fixing an occasional glaring typo or a bad link.

While I usually prefer hypertext, I wonder if the how-to pages perhaps be rolled into a .pdf for ease of reference? ("Wikipedia for Dummies"?) It would of course be non-canonical (due to the dynamic nature of the Wikipedia) and require recompilation periodically as the source pages evolve.

Alternatively, if the pages were sequenced as a tutorial chain-linked forward in a logical progression, it may be about as easy to follow, as opposed to browsing (or mashing about) the alphabetical index.

Like now I will put my signature in here, but only by the expedient of following the example of the fellow before me. -- Jeffreykopp 17 Mar 05.

Creation of PDF seems unlikely, considering that they wouldn't be editable, and would quickly become out of date. But who knows. -- Beland 00:39, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

PDF? You just gave me a good idea. If we had Wikipedia articles in PDF...--HIZKIAH (User • Talk) 16:24, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Special Output

Couldn't this just be a formated output of the SPecial:Prefixindex page, set to the Help Space? Mbisanz (talk) 10:43, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
