Wijdan Michael

Wijdan Michael Salim is the current Iraqi Minister for Human Rights in the government of Nouri al-Maliki. An Assyrian, she was elected as part of the Iyad Allawi's Iraqi National List. She was also elected in the Iraqi parleiment as part of the same list in the January 2005 elections.
Wijdan Michael is member of the Chaldean Catholic Church.
