Wigs for Kids

Wigs for Kids is a non-profit organization started by Jeffrey Paul which creates wigs for children who have lost their hair either permanently or temporarily due to a medical condition. This organization accepts donations of both hair and money. Volunteers run fundraisers to offset wig costs.

The hair must be cut and placed in a bag or wrapped in plastic before it is sent. The minimum length varies from 10-12 inches.The hair cannot be dyed, permed, or processed in any way. Gray hair is also acceptable.
Recipients must be 18 years old or younger. Only people who have lost their hair through medical procedures, conditions, or similar circumstances such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia areata, burns can apply. All applicants must complete and send in a form.
